Catalysing nature restoration in the Wye Valley and surrounds through rewilding.
The Wye Valley and its river is one of Britain’s most special environments. Wilding can help restore some of its natural beauty through increasing the number and connectivity of wildlife filled places along it.
Our network includes over 70 projects across more than 1700 acres throughout the Wye Valley.
Wye Valley Wilding is a network of local landowners and nature lovers who support nature restoration across the Wye Valley through rewilding.
We run free events and visits to inspiring places with wilder, nature friendly land management. We help create connections between land owners to share our knowledge and experiences. Together we aim to catalyse nature restoration across the Wye Valley.
Our ambitions include supporting people to reintroduce species to their land, providing links to useful services like graziers and jointly purchasing land.
It’s free to join the network, we have members with just a couple of acres to members with a couple of 100 acres.
Project in focus: Court Farm, Craswall, Herefordshire
Victoria and Tim Heffer are a decade into a wonderful agroecology project, to which they have recently added 100 acres of land for rewilding.
