Small pearl bordered fritillary at Olchon Court Farm
Join WVW for a visit to one of our members sites in the beautiful Olchon Valley, the most easterly valley of the Black Mountains.
Biodiversity has been restored to Olchon Court Farm through a sensitive and well informed approach which blends rewilding principals with traditional conservation management.
We will explore part of this 70 acre upland site, which holds a range of habitats including acid grassland under conservation grazing, hay meadows, traditional orchards, restored coppice woodlands, wooded dingles, streams and a riparian area along the Olchon Brook.
The ground is uneven and there will be slopes to navigate. Please wear stout boots and dress for the weather.
Places are limited to 20, please use the booking link here to book your place or email Louise if you have any problems with the booking system.
