Introduction to the Welsh Rewilding Alliance

On 20th of January we had two online talks, an Introduction to the Welsh Rewilding Alliance by James Hitchcock and Introduction to the Nature Sponsorship tool by Tom Constable.  We were pleased to have 24 people join the online call, as it was our first online event and we were unsure how our members would respond, but we have had very positive feedback.

James Hitchcock joined WVW to introduce WVW members to the work of the Welsh Rewilding Alliance, a growing movement uniting organisations, landowners, communities and decision-makers to restore thriving ecosystems, boost rural livelihoods and celebrate Welsh landscapes and our wild nature.

Wye Valley Wilding is a core members of the Welsh Rewilding Alliance and our members are keen to support nature and economic recovery in Wales through rewilding. Rewilding in Wales means reconnecting people and the landscape, creating new opportunites for communities, connecting small scale sites and enabling people and wildlife to thrive together.
